BB Coke returned to the quarter-finals of the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup football competition for the first time since 2019 after upsetting the higher ranked Paul Bogle High 3-0 in their return leg win at York Oval on Tuesday.

BB Coke who finished second in Zone E in the first round and was ranked number 22, 11 places lower than Paul Bogle High were one of three schools to book quarter-final spots as former champions St Elizabeth Technical and Glenmuir High also made progress.

Jahmaul Wright, Semar Williams and Tevon Morris got on the score sheet on Tuesday for BB Coke who had a 5-0 aggregate after winning the first leg game 2-0.

Orel Miller and Kyle Gordon each scored a brace for Glenmuir High who romped to a 9-0 win over Morant Bay High at Glenmuir High for a 12-0 aggregate win.

Nyron Allen, Tevin Ramdial, Tajaun Cummings, Orane Watson and Deandre Johnson also scored for Glenmuir High.

STETHS beat Irwin High 2-0 with goals from Dantay Hewitt and D’Andre Hibbert for a 3-0 aggregate win after edging the st James High based school 1-0 in the first leg.
