Four schools led by defending champions Clarendon College have extended their perfect win records though the first legs of the second round of the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup football competition.

Clarendon College, Manchester High, Dinthill Technical and Happy Grove High were all winners on Saturday as the first leg games were completed.

Clarendon College won their ninth games in a row as they romped to an 8-0 win over deCarteret College at Brooks Park as Malachi Douglas led the way with a hat trick with Kaheim Dixon also scoring two goals and Theon Cupee, Christopher Hull and Devonte Hodges all got on the score sheet as well.

Manchester High won their 11th straight game, edging Munro College 1-0 at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex.
Dinthill Technical won their ninth game of the year with a 2-0 victory over Horace Clarke High while Happy Grove got win number seven, edging Ocho Rios High 2-1.
Back-to-back semi-finalists Mannings School, last season’s semi-finalists Edwin Allen High and former champions Rusea’s High were all upset in Saturday’s first leg games of the second round of the ISSA/Wata DaCosta Cup football competition.
