Wolmer’s Boys, Holy Trinity advance to the knockout stage of the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup competition.

Group G came to completion on Tuesday, October 9th after leaders Wolmer’s Boys drew 1-1 with Waterford High. The result sees Wolmer’s finish atop the group with 26 points from 10 games, scoring 26 goals and conceding 6. The maroon and gold clad institution finished the first round undefeated.

Holy Trinity fell short of the top spot by just two points and had to settle for the runners-up spot in the group. Despite having lost twice to the group winners, Holy Trinity held firm against other opponents to secure a knockout stage qualification, scoring 31 goals and conceding 7.

Both teams await their opponent in the seeded knockout round of the Manning Cup competition.
