Former Jamaican champions Waterhouse FC knows who they will
play in the  Scotiabank CONCACAF League round of 16 next week
in Kingston after Haitian club Arcahai advanced via a walk over
route.

Arcahai were supposed to face Verdes of Belize in a one
game elimination match last Tuesday but got the bye after Verdez
were forced to withdraw with more than half their team stricken with
COVID-19.

The Haitians are set to face Waterhouse at the stadium east
facilities next Thursday, November 5 th after the Ministry of Health
and Wellness gave the game the go-ahead on Tuesday.

A release by the Jamaica Football Federation on Tuesday
announced that the Ministry of Health “has declared that it has no
objection to the Scotiabank CONCACAF League game to be hosted
by Waterhouse at Stadium East Field on November 5.”

The released added “Waterhouse must ensure that all health
protocols are adhered to in training and at the match. The MOHW
reserves the right to observe training and the game to ensure
adherence.”

Waterhouse FC are hoping to improve on last year’s results
when they were eliminated 2-0 at the quarter-final stage by
Honduras’ Motagua F.C.
