Lennon High emerged 1-0 victors over Claude McKay in their Zone H clash in the 2013 ISSA daCosta Cup football competition at Cedars Mocho. A late-headed winner from Garrie Mosely was the difference between the two even though both teams played well; including a number of chances to put their feisty opposition away from inside the first 45 minutes of play.

The Dane Chambers-coached Lennon High were kept on the defensive for most of the game, with their defence working overtime to keep the free-flowing Claude McKay midfield in check. The win, however, kept Lennon in front of their rivals with their first victory, while CLaude McKay slumped to one points in three matches.

Lennon is now second in the zone behind ‘Arcj-rivals’ Clarendon College.

Zone H Standings:

Clarendon College 9
Lennon High 4
Edwin Allen 1
Thompson Town 1
Claude McKay 1
