Kingston College began the defence of their ISSA/Digicel Schoolboy Football title in fine style as they trashed rivals Calabar High 5-1 at Sabina Park.

Dujuan Richards and Nashordo Gibbs both bagged a brace as they led KC to a comfortable start in the defence of their Manning Cup title. Richards began the scoring in the 27th minute and then later bagged his second of the game in the 57th.
Super sub Gibbs came on and gave a maestro cameo performance after scoring in the 77th and 88th minutes. Ashanie Kennedy was also on the score sheet in the 58th to ensure Kingston College sent a strong statement about defending their title. Omar Walker scored Calabar’s consultation goal in the 84th minute as the game was already done and dusted.

The second Manning Cup game of the day saw St. George’s College hammer Ardenne High 6-0 in what was a one-sided affair. This result takes STGC atop zone A ahead of rivals KC on goal difference.
