The lop sided wins which started on Tuesday, continued on Wednesday when Denbigh High mauled Porus High 18-0 in the ISSA/Wata daCosta Cup competition at the Porus Community Centre.

Dunsting Cohen scored nine goals to lead Denbigh who led 5-0 at half time before opening the proverbial flood gates in the second half.
Decoy Wynter scored three goals as well while Daniel Daley and Adrian Miller also bagged doubles while goalkeeper Tyrese Powell scored from the penalty spot and LaShawn Barnaby also got one.
On Tuesday, Ocho Rios High had beaten new comers Discovery Bay High 15-0, Paul Bogle High scored a 10-0 win over Robert Lightbourne High, Tacky High beat Carron Hall High 8-0 and Belair High beat Cross Keys High 8-1.

Also on Wednesday, five former winners also got their campaigns off to a winning start, Cornwall College, St James High, Garvey Maceo High, Glenmuir High and Dinthill Technical.

Raheem Lee and Alexander Cox scored in the first half for 12 time champions Cornwall College to beat Maldon High 2-0 while St James High edged Green Pond 1-0, thanks to a Kenou Gram goal, both in Zone A.

Dinthill Technical beat McGrath High 3-1 in Zone J; Orane Watson bagged a brace and Nyron Allen and Deandre Johnson scored a goal each as Glenmuir High beat Old Harbour to top Zone L.

Garvey Maceo who won in 2021 edged Foga Road 1-0 as well. Meanwhile Irwin High leads Zone A on goal-difference with a 3-0 win over Spot Valley with two goals from Leo Campbell and substitute Nicholus Samuels.

Shevon Miller scored a hat-trick as Happy Grove beat Port Antonio High 5-0 , scoring in the 34th, 46th and 50th minutes with Bonny Chisholm scoring in the 43rd and Seam Williams converted a 45 th minute penalty.

Knox College made a winning return to the competition, edging Alphansus Davis High 1-0 while Black River held back to back semi-finalist Mannings School to a 1-1 draw.
