New comers Discovery Bay High were given a baptism of fire as they were trounced 15-0 by Ocho Rios High in their ISSA daCosta Cup game played at Noranda Sports Complex in St Ann on Tuesday.

The day was highlighted by lopsided wins as Tacky High and Belair High both scored eight times against Carron Hall and Cross Keys respectively; BB Coke beat Roger Clarke High 6-0, Cedric Titus got by Ferncourt High 5-1; Merlene Ottey blanked Cambridge 4-0 and Kemps Hill outscored Tacius Golding 4-2.

At Noranda Sports Complex, Tajay McIntosh and Keanu Reid scored four times each, Malik Huie got three goals while Tyrese Brown, Antonio
Mitchell, Tajean Bird and Daniel Reid got one each.

Giovanni McLean also got a hattrick for Tacky High as Romario Gibbs and Deandre Jackson bagged a brace each and Robert Cain got the other.
Christian Henry and Orlando Gray each scored twice for Belair as Ajwani Wauchope, Raimi Smith, Daniel Brown and Miguel Harrison all got one goal while Ravi Robinson got Cross Keys’ consolation goal.

Former champions St Elizabeth Technical eased past Lacovia High 2-0, Brown’s Town edged William Knibb Memorial 1-0 as Kemps Hill outscored Tacius Golding 4-2 and Titchfield High beat Fair Prospect 2-0.
