A number of new faces could be seen the next time the ReggaeBoyz are called to camp with at least two UK based players, midfielder Daniel Johnson of Preston North End and central defender Liam Moore of Reading FC both in the English second tier Championships, have indicated their interest to wear the black, green and gold.

Recently head coach Theodore Whitmore was quoted as saying he was seeking to add new players to the team that will have a busy 2021 summer with the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the start of the final round of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Whitmore said reinforcements were needed across the entire defence as well as the central midfield position.

Moore who captains Reading and has played every minute of their four games so far this season would be a big step up having played for England at the Under 21 level and was part of the Leicester City set up when they won the Premier league in 2016.

Johnson who was born in Kingston will make a belated appearance for the ReggaeBoyz after he was invited last year for the CONCACAF Nations League but failed to make the trip.

Johnson and Bobby Reid who helped Fulham Athletic earn promotion to the Premier League were the new invitees last year but only Reid made the trip.
