Malcolm Lennon and Omario Walters scored in back-to-back games to lead former champions  Vere Technical to back-to-back wins in Zone N of the ISSA daCosta Cup football competition.

Both had scored in Wednesday’s 9-0 win over Winston Jones and combined to carry Vere Technical to a 2-0 victory of Kemps Hill High and improved to six points, it was Lennon’s fourth goal of the season after his hat trick against Winston Jones High while Walters got his third goal of the season.

 

Paul Bogle High became the first school to win three straight games after they beat Seaforth High 3-1 as Malleak McFarlane scored a double and Nickoy Grant got the other while Davian Ross scored for Seaforth High.

The win took Paul Bogle High to nine points.

Horace Clarke High are also unbeaten after beating St Mary High 3-1 to move to seven points, taking over the lead in Zone J, and followed by Tacky High, who are on five points after their 2-2 draw against St Mary Technical.

Annotto Bay High scored their first win of the season after blanking Wycliffe Martin High 3-0 with goals from Travon King and Rasheed Dennis in the first half and Demar Knox in the second half.

St Thomas Technical snapped their two games losing start with a 4-0 win over Robert Lightbourne High in Zone L while Yallahs High won their second game beating Morant Bay High who were losing for the first time this season after getting four points from their first two games.
