It was a bad day for defenses in Schoolboy Football as it rained goals in both Manning and DaCosta Cups. A total of 117 goals were scored across both competitions.

Last season’s beaten finalist Dinthill, dismantled McGrath’s defense coming away at the end of the day with an 18-0 score line in their favour. It seemed to be a training day like encounter with six (6) goals from young national representative Kaheem Parris. Parris now has eight (8) goals from three games.

Results elsewhere saw defending champions STETHS defeating Lacovia 4-1, Munro 5-0 Black River, Manchester 5-1 Belair, Thompson Town 2-0, Lennon 9-1 Knox, Garvey Maceo 2-0 Foga, Porus 2-0 Winston Jones, Glenmuir 5-0 Denbigh, Central 3-1 Tacius Holding and Old Harbour 4-1 Bustamante.

Kingston College bounced back to winning ways after a draw with Denham Town by hammering Papine 9-0. Leading goal scorer Rashawn MacKison bagged four goals, hence taking his tally to 18 goals this season.

In another Manning Cup games, St Georges College thumping Tivoli 6-0, defending champions Jamaica College overcame a fighting Eltham High 3-1, Denham Town defeated Ascot 2-0, Holy Trinity overcame Charlie Smith 2-1, Waterford swept away Clan Carthy 5-0, Bridgeport defeated Cumberland 2-0, Dunoon overcame Jose Marti 3-1, Wolmers continued their unbeaten run by defeating Camperdown 4-1, Greater Portmore ran pass Tarrant with a 3-0 victory and Calabar continued to make the going rough for Campion by defeating them 5-0.
