Second-year team Belmont Academy scored their first ever win in the ISSA/Wata DaCostaa Cup football competition, spanking former champions Godfrey Stewart High 3-0 in their Zone D game played at Godfrey Stewart in Sav la Mar.

Belmont Academy rebounded from their 5-0 loss to Zone leaders Mannings High on Monday to end a nine games losing streak since entering the competition last season for their first ever victory.

Tyrone Robinson, Kasin Lind and a defenders goal took them to their first points and in to second place on goal-difference in Zone D.

Mannings High are the leaders on six points, joining seven others who won heir first two game after a 3-0 win over Maud McLeod who had won their opening game on Monday over Grange Hill.
