Both rural area senior schoolboy football titles will reside in Clarendon after defending champions Edwin Allen High and Glenmuir High won their semifinals on Wednesday and qualified for the Ben Francis Knock-Out finals this Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Edwin Allen blanked Rusea’s High 3-0 in the second game of the doubleheader played at STETHS after Glenmuir beat York Castle High 2-0 in the first game.

Last week, Clarendon College and Central High both qualified for the DaCosta Cup finals after beating Manning’s School of Westmoreland and Manchester High of Manchester respectively in the semi-finals also played at STETHS.

Edwin Allen got goals from Tajae Thomas in the second minute, Clayton Peck in the 16th minute and Alwayen Bryan in the 48th minute.

David Reid scored both goals for Glenmuir High, in the 13th and 62nd minutes as they qualified for a senior schoolboy football competition for the first time in 10 years.
